Configure additional document types

You probably don't know it, but when we first launched Invofox we only processed invoices (hence our name, 🧾+🦊), but as time's gone by we've learnt a lot from and with our customers, and now Invofox processes many different kinds of documents that you can enable in each of your account's environments.

Every few months we launch a new document type, and the current list includes:

• Invoices
• Utility bills
• Bills of lading
• Purchase orders
• Receipts
• Checks
• Bank statements

In order to configure the document types you want to work with in a particular environment you only have to go to Configuration, select the document types you wish to enable, and click save:

After enabling document types like this, you're all set to start processing them. Use the key type in our API when uploading documents or leverage our document classifier to take full advantage of Invofox in your document processing endeavors!
